Competitions

Cheer competitions involve teams performing choreographed 2.5-minute routines set to music, featuring high-level stunts, tumbling, jumps, and dance.

Judged on difficulty, execution, and showmanship, they are divided by age (Tiny to Senior) and skill levels (1-7). Major events include UCA Nationals and The Summit.

All-Star Cheerleading:

Teams, not affiliated with schools, focus solely on competition, performing high-energy routines with music.

School/Sideline Cheer:

Incorporates traditional cheers with signs, poms, and megaphones, along with an entertainment routine.

STUNT:

A head-to-head, four-quarter format focusing on the athletic components of cheer.

Routine Structure:

Typically 2.5 minutes long, featuring stunts, pyramids, jumps, and tumbling.

Scoring:

Based on difficulty, technique, crowd-leading, and overall impression.

Levels: Ranging from Level 1 (beginner) to Level 7 (elite).

Bids:

Invitations to prestigious end-of-season events like The Summit or The World Championship.

Divisions:

Separated by age, team size, and skill level.

Scoresheet:

The document detailing how points are awarded for skills.

Pack Accordingly:
